Senator Pam Mwadkon Dachungyang has officially been welcomed into the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Riyom Local Government Area. This event aims to enhance the party’s local framework and improve its chances in upcoming elections.
APC Riyom Chairman Hon. Ntoy Ngyang Gwong handed the senator his membership card and expressed that Dachungyang’s joining would energize the party, urging him to assist in unifying the local APC.
The chairman emphasized the party’s openness—describing the APC as a home for all—and encouraged others to join without fear of discrimination.
Senator Dachungyang, who recently defected from another party, stressed that despite his former affiliation he never criticized the APC and has collaborated with APC members at the national assembly level.
In his speech, he encouraged party supporters to promote unity, strengthen internal relationships, and collaborate for the benefit of the residents of Plateau State.
He also committed to ensuring that his membership would lead to real development, reassuring those present that additional projects would be introduced in Riyom and Plateau North.
