Hon. Lapshak Yilwatda Goshwe, the Global Convener of Tinubu or Nothing 2027, presented 40 NIN registration devices valued at N35 million on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Devotional Hotel in Dadin Kowa, Jos Plateau State, while greeting attendees at the event that advocates for hope, inclusion, and democratic engagement.
Hon. Lapshak emphasized that the devices are designed to ensure that individuals can be counted and actively participate in shaping the future of Nigeria, indicating that this initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision, which prioritizes reforms, youth inclusion, economic resilience, and national unity.
The global convener of Tinubu or Nothing, Hon. Lapshak, underscored that the goals of Tinubu or Nothing 2027 encompass the promotion of inclusive civic engagement, the mobilization of Nigerians regarding democratic processes, the encouragement of intergenerational dialogue, the support of governance continuity, the fostering of unity, and the enhancement of democratic institutions.
Hon. Lapshak reiterated that the movement highlights the collaboration between youth and elders in fostering national progress, promoting peaceful engagement, education, and empowerment.
Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, the APC National Chairman, represented by Chief Jibrin Bancir, Personal Private Secretary to the APC National Chairman, stressed the vital necessity of finalizing party membership registration and establishing a dependable membership database.
He clarified that the membership registration process is linked to the BVM system, which subsequently relates to the status of voters, thereby constituting the fundamental database of the party.
Chief Bancir emphasized the importance of recognizing this reality and verifying the current registration figures, encouraging party members to return to their home communities to ensure that all relatives and supporters are registered before the registration period concludes.
He acknowledged the difficulties associated with the National Identification Number (NIN) process but conveyed his belief that a united effort across the nation can surmount these challenges, even mentioning a statement that “NIN is free energy.”
Bancir also referred to the party’s leadership framework and the legislative homeland, suggesting extensive organizational backing for the registration initiative.
In addition to the registration priorities, he declared that the party—through the National Chairman—will support the Tinubu or Nothing advocacy group in Plateau State by providing multiple machines (more than one) and offering significant, albeit undisclosed, financial assistance to aid their efforts.
He credited this support to the innovative efforts of the support group and concluded by congratulating all on the advancements being made in Plateau State.
Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, was represented by Hon. Musa Ashom, the Commissioner for Youths and Sports, who delivered a concise address highlighting the importance of simplicity in governmental actions.
He expressed gratitude to the convener for organizing the event, recognized the logistical challenges involved, and encouraged members of the APC—referred to as ‘Plateanian sons and daughters’—to collaborate with netizens who will visit communities to register residents.
Ashom clarified that the event was not intended for lengthy speeches, mentioning that he would adhere to his commitment and that they would proceed with the governor to the stadium for inspection.
He also referenced a recent loss involving Professor Daniel Izam (noting that he left a conference due to the significance of the event) and took the opportunity to announce a personal donation of one million, which he would deliver to the governor.
Reaffirming the party’s ownership of the initiative, he urged Plateau youths to put aside grievances, emphasizing unity and family among APC members. He concluded with expressions of gratitude and a blessing.

Bernard Doro, the Minister for Humanitarian and Poverty Reduction, extended his congratulations to the national convener of the Tinubu or Nothing support group for the innovative launch of NIN registration devices in Plateau State.
